Upon arrival the desk manager told us we could have a free upgrade for a bigger and nicer room, which we happily accepted. The suite was amazing, it lacked absolutely nothing and was beautifully decorated, everything was done up to the highest standard. Breakfast was nothing short of a treat, wrapped in a basket for us to take to the room if we wanted. Free parking in private area, so in short: would highly recommend!

In the heart of Thessaloniki, The Modernist Thessaloniki combines old-world grace with casual luxury, set in a striking 1920’s heritage building. I loved it, people on top of it all, the warm welcome, every interaction, was so kind and lovely. They offered us a little travel guide with precious tips for self made walking tours of the city, and, when we arrived, there were 2 delicious chocolate truffles with a note waiting for us. Thank you Modernist Team! Moreover, the breakfast was amazing, the location perfect, the cleaning spotless, there was a window also in the bathroom, room was very quiete, beds very comfortable and the style amazing! I am a modernist, genius!
